MARCH 2 UPDATE: The advance registration has now closed.  Registration will open again around 11:00 am on Friday, March 3, for onsite registration.  

FEBRUARY 23 UPDATE:  The online program is now available.

FEBRUARY 15 UPDATE: A first draft of the program is available for download here.  While the actual program may change, the schedule of events is unlikely to do so.  

JANUARY 18 UPDATE: Lodging information is now available for the TAS meeting.  View the different hotels and rates here.

JANUARY 11 UPDATE: The meeting registration page is now open!  Meeting registration can be accessed here.  The early bird price will be available through February 15th at 5:00pm, and which point we will switch to late pricing (a $25 increase on the costs).  Late registration will be open through the end of February.  After that time, if you haven't registered, you will need to register on-site.  As a reminder, you MUST be a member to register for the meeting.  In addition, you must also register for the meeting if you are giving a presentation.  The only exception for this is if you are a student research award winner and are presenting your research results, in which case your registration is free.  If this is a the case, please contact Christopher Vitek, send him a copy of your abstract acceptance and your research award notice, and he will register you for the meeting.

NOVEMBER 18 UPDATE: The cost for attending the 2017 annual meeting will be $200 for regular members and $75 for students.  There will be a $25 increase in price after the early bird registration (ending February 15), and advance registration will end March 1. Another $25 increase will be seen for registering on-site.  Registration will open in early January.  As a reminder, you need to be a member of TAS to register, but you want to wait until Jan 1, 2017 to join if you are a new member.  If you are an existing member, you can renew at anytime.

NOVEMBER 9 UPDATE: Information about the student research awards has been posted online.  You can view the announcement here.  This announcement includes instructions for submitting a research proposal, requirements for getting one (including reporting results), and the judges criteria that will be used in evaluation.  We have awards fpr Ph.D., M.S., and B.S./B.A. students, so we encourage everyone to apply!

OCTOBER 13 UPDATE: The 2017 meeting will be held in Belton, TX at the University of Mary Hardin-Baylor.  Abstract submission will begin on October 17.  You can use this link, or use the link through the website menu.  You must create a NEW login account on the abstract site to submit an abstract.  As a reminder, you do not need to be a member to submit an abstract, but you must be a member for 2017 to attend (and present) at the meeting.  Current membership is for the 2016 year, so if you are just joining to attend the meeting, please wait until January to join TAS.  If you have any questions, please contact us.
