Neil Ford in the department of biology at the University of Texas at Tyler has a research assistantship available for a student interested in their Masters program. The funding is to do research on the ecology of freshwater mussels in the Sabine River. The stipend is $10,000 for 9 months with the opportunity for a funded internship in the summer also.
