Collegiate Academy Travel Funds
116th Annual Meeting
Schreiner University, Kerrville, TX
February 28-March 2, 2012
This year, at our 116th meeting, the Texas Academy of Science will provide a forum for an array of diverse, high quality presentations in many areas of research and education. One way in which we foster the development of the next generation of scientists in our state involves our Collegiate Academy. One example of that support includes distribution of travel funds to the Collegiate Chapters.
All institutions with an active Collegiate Chapter may be eligible for up to $400 in reimbursements for travel expenses (i.e. mileage, gas, rental cars, food or hotels) to the annual meeting. If your institution is eligible, please save relevant receipts and attach them to the Annual Meeting Chapter Reimbursement Form to be given to the Collegiate Academy Counselor at the annual meeting.
Contact the Collegiate Academy Counselor, Kathleen Wood (kwood@umhb.edu), for more information about the reimbursement process or establishing a Chapter.
