Call for Abstracts

 Abstract submission is closed

Abstract submission is through a new external portal and website - TAS 2023 meeting site

You can still use this site to view, revise, or check the status of your abstract

Submission deadline is December 5, at midnight.

Please note

  • This site is separate from the TAS website.  You must create a separate login account to submit abstracts. Your TAS member login will not work on this site.
  • You do NOT need to be a member to submit an abstract, but you MUST be a member by the time you attend the meeting. If you are not a member, we encourage you to join on, or after, January 1, 2023, as membership runs through the calendar year.  If you join before January 1, 2023, you will need to renew your membership on January 1.
  • This new site allows for people to submit an abstract on someone else's behalf.
  • General instructions for abstract submission are listed the site and can also be found here. A more concise list of instructions can be found here.

If you have any questions, please contact [email protected].

Meeting App

Our abstract submission system includes a mobile app, available for iOS or Android, that can be installed on a smartphone.

This app will allow you to personalize your schedule, read abstracts for the presentations and posters, view the overall schedule and locations, work with an interactive map to show you where to go, and more!

Instructions for installing the app

  1. Download the Ex Ordo app on your phone from either the App Store (iOS) or the Google Play Store (Android)
  2. The installation process will take a few minutes. Once the app is installed, click the Ex Ordo icon that now appears on your phone screen.
  3. You can now search for the guide. To find the guide type in tas126 into the search box for the passphrase (not the "find guides" search field).
  4. The TAS 126th annual meeting guide should be loaded now.
  5. If you would like to receive notifications from the conference organizers and interact with other users of the guide you will have to log in. Here is an article that explains the process - Check in and Connect.
If you just want to browse the schedule or read abstracts, you can do that without logging in.

If you prefer to use a webpage, the meeting website can be accessed here - https://guidebook.com/g/tas126/.
Use the passphrase tas126 to access the TAS website.

We welcome your opinion on the new abstract submission system and the new app.  Do you feel it worked well?  Did you experience any problems or issues? Do you feel there are features you would like to see?
Please contact [email protected] with comments and suggestions.
